Lo and Behold

March 20, 2011

If I see people whispering or a closed door meeting I instantly assume it is somehow about me.  Of course I realize this is absurd, paranoid  and above all incredibly egocentric and I manually talk myself down.

Shown below is a photo taken at a recent social engagement.  Camera in hand, I inadvertently walked into a slightly tense kitchen island interaction – silently snapped a photo and left the room, thinking little about it.  Later in the evening once the tears (yes, tears!) had dried I asked about what had transpired in the kitchen.

Lo and behold IT WAS ABOUT ME! I knew it!
